The AQR runs a number of events and conferences throughout the year, open to both members and non-members. These events prove very popular and early booking is advised.

Hajime!

Pecha Kucha is a presentation phenomenon...each of our speakers will get only 6 minutes 40 seconds to present 20 automated slides, with exactly 20 seconds per slide. If only debriefs were all like that (see, there’s something to think about already).

AQR’s first Pecha Kucha night is aimed at researchers, ad agency staff and clients with up to 5 years experience who want to meet other folks in the industry, listen to some inspiring speakers, be challenged, ask questions, heckle, laugh and have more fun than we usually get to have on a Monday night.

The theme for our speakers is...

Storytelling: using consumers to tell our stories... but frankly, we’re hoping they’re going to go off piste, we’re not into rigid briefs, we're much more interested in hearing some good stories.

The evening will be MC’d by Danny Wain (L&D Consultant, coach, playwright and actor)and our speakers will include:

Our evening will kick off with drinks and nibbles at 7:00pm. The presentations will begin at approx 7:45pm but the evening will continue til we’re kicked out!

Tickets cost £15 + VAT for members and £20 + VAT for non-members (including drinks and nibbles). And just because everyone likes something for free, if you book 4 places, you’ll get the 5th place for free!
